Head of the Metrieren Department (Full-Time) (m/f/d)
We are looking for you for our cable plant at our site in Däniken (Herrenmatt plant)!
The Cutting Department, with approximately 50 employees, is responsible for cutting fabric to length according to customer specifications. The team processes cutting orders in accordance with individual customer requirements and established packaging guidelines. Together, they ensure high on-time delivery rates and quality. In addition, the department’s responsibilities include inventory management of finished goods, internal material flow, and the operation of approximately 15 modern systems, which are operated both fully automatically and conventionally.
Your day at Studer Cables:
- Planning and organizing personnel and equipment resources to ensure flexibility and prevent bottlenecks
- Responsibility for capacity and workload planning within one's own department
- Strategic planning and implementation of improvement measures in the logistics sector and in the area of facilities
- Leading and actively participating in projects, as well as ensuring their efficient and effective implementation
- Initiating and implementing new procedures and methods to meet future requirements
- Responsibility for the department’s cost planning and control in close coordination with the supervisor
- Ensuring that objectives are met while ensuring cost-effective implementation
You are:
- Basic technical or business training, followed by advanced training to become a Process Specialist (FA) or a Certified Industrial Engineer (HF)
- Several years of professional experience in a similar position
- At least 3 years of management experience in a manufacturing company
- Experience in long-run production is a plus
- An open-minded person with a high degree of flexibility and initiative
- Solution-oriented thinking and action
- Very good written and spoken German skills
