Head of Technology / Industrial Engineering 100% (m/f/d)
We are looking for you to join our cable factory at our site in Däniken (Herrenmatt factory) with immediate effect!
Your day at Studer Cables:
In this key position, you will be responsible for the technical equipment at the Däniken site, focusing on plant availability, process stability, operational excellence, and digitalization. You will lead a technical team of up to 35 employees and report directly to the management. Your responsibilities will include overall management in the areas of maintenance, plant engineering and automation, process technology, and building services, and you will act as an internal service provider for production. You will implement modern maintenance strategies such as TPM, preventive and predictive measures, increase OEE and plant performance, manage investment and retrofit projects, and be responsible for occupational safety, KPIs, and digitalization initiatives within the framework of Industry 4.0.
You are:
You have a degree in engineering or higher technical education and many years of practical experience in automation technology or a production plant. Your in-depth technical and industrialization expertise is complemented by at least ten years of management experience in an industrial production environment. You understand complex technical interrelationships—from mechanics and electrical engineering to control technology. In addition, you have comprehensive expertise in maintenance and plant management, experience in multi-shift operations, and a strong affinity for IT and digitalization. With your strategic mindset, assertiveness, and practical approach to work, you make a significant contribution to the sustainable development of the company. As a solution-oriented doer who sets an example, you have a positive influence on the team culture, are open to new methods, and are willing to travel in the future as part of our internationalization strategy.
